Inconel Alloy 718 ®

Inconel Alloy 718 ® is an alloy containing high levels of nickel, chromium and molybdenum. It is one of the most popular nickel based super alloys and is widely used because of its excellent resistance to corrosive environments, such as crevice corrosion and pitting. Inconel Alloy 718 is intended to show outstandingly high yield, tensile strength and creep-rupture properties at temperatures up to 1300˚F.

Inconel Alloy 718 Fasteners such as Nuts, Bolts, Socket Setscrews, Washers, Studbolts, Studs, Socket Capscrews, Socket Countersunk screws & machined components and hot forged items can all be produced at West Special Fasteners Limited.

We can also supply round bar in Inconel Alloy 718.

Inconel Alloy 718 is used a great deal in extreme environments, such as high-speed airframe parts, cryogenic storage parts, nuclear reactors, chemical processing, and gas turbine engine parts. Alloy 718 is used in these environments because of its high strength and ability to perform excellently at high temperatures.

West Special Fasteners specialises in exotic metals and have supplied major UK companies with Inconel Alloy 718 bolts, nuts etc for use in Subsea controls and pipelines.

We look forward to helping with your Inconel Alloy 718 requirements and would welcome any enquiries by telephone on + 44 (0)1246 291111 or email sales@westspecialfasteners.co.uk.
